US Senate Rejection of UN Treaty on Disabilities 'Disappointing to Many'

The U.S. Senate on Wednesday rejected the ratification of a UN treaty that would have largely made the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act an international standard.

Host Carmen Russell-Sluchansky spoke with Dr. Lex Frieden, one of the architects of the American Disabilities Act as well as the treaty, to discuss the failure of the U.S. Senate to approve the treaty.
