Now that the presidential, vice presidential and third-party presidential debates are over and long gone, and the media has picked apart each candidate’s platform and performance, it’s time to analyze the debate moderators themselves.

From Jim Lehrer to Candy Crowley to Martha Raddatz to Bob Schieffer to Larry King, each moderator has given the American public and press a lot to work with in terms of praise and criticism.

Some argued that Lehrer did not go far enough in challenging the candidates and some said that Crowley went too far in calling out the candidates.

Host Carmen Russell-Sluchanky spoke with host Jamila Bey to dissect the moderators’ performances throughout the debate series.
