Libertarian Senate Candidate: Wars Violating the Laws of Arithmetic as US Erodes Civil Liberties

the presidential campaign continues, the recent debates have raised concerns among many Americans that not all candidates are being given their voice in the political discussions facing the country.

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney wrapped up their third and final debate on Monday, just in time for Tuesday’s third-party debate between the Libertarian, Justice, Constitution and Green party presidential nominees.

Beyond the presidential race, there are also third-party candidates vying for office positions in the Senate and House. One candidate is Dean Ahmad, who is running for Senate in Maryland for the Libertarian Party.

Host Jamila Bey spoke with Ahmad to discuss his platform, the topics likely to be discussed in the third-party debate and the issue of inclusion for third-party candidates in the national political discussion.
