Ex-Governor Accused of Bribery Seeks Pardon at the DNC

Live from the Democratic National Convention, The Due Diligence correspondent Carmen Russell Sluchansky speaks to former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman who is not only seeking to support the President, but to ask for his help.

Siegelman was convicted of bribery and corruption from activities relating to his term as governor. However, many have criticized the conviction as politically motivated and a travesty of justice, and effort by Siegelman’s political enemies unseat him. Seigelman is visiting the DNC to make his case for a pardon.
