Committee going through 301 amendments to ‘Gang of 8’ immigration bill

Comprehensive immigration reform took another step toward becoming reality on Thursday as the Senate Judiciary Committee started reviewing amendments to a bill intended to give a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million residents living illegally in the United States.
